Grants

Enroling into the European Master in Business Studies has a cost even if one often minimize its cost by comparing it to business schools.
In order to help you in reducing the cost EMBS students will have at their disposal two grants: the Erasmus grant and the Explora grant.

• Erasmus grant

You will normally be eligible to the Erasmus grant if you never had it during the past few years. For one semester you will receive around 800€ with it.
The Erasmus grant is the one which require a lof of administrative papers. I strongly advise you to always keep a copy of all documents you will send to the department of the University of Savoie which is managing those documents.
They will mostly ask you for the original documents and have a tendency to lose them, so as an advice always make a copy before sending them (for example you can make a scan or a picture) and use a third party for example send your document to the EMBS department at the IMUS in Annecy rather than directly to the grant offices.

• Explora grant

Regarding the Explora one it is given by the region of Rhône-Alpes where is located the IMUS department. It is a quite interesting grant because it is giving you 95€/week during 6 months. In order to be eligible to this grant you need to be register as a student of the University of Savoie.
This grant does not require a lot of documentation and it will be easy for you to get the money.

So far all the EMBS students received their grants, hope it will continue like this in the future.
