The Consultancy project: The Easteq example

During these two years the EMBS students have to realize a consultancy project for an international company.

The objectives of this consultancy project are the following:


  • Working as a partner with a client being a firm,institution or association,


  • Developing a mission within a professional context,including an analysis,some recommandations ans some actions


  • Reporting the work carried out and the results of the assignments


  • Experiencing a practical case of export and cross-cultural marketing or selling

The principles are:
-Assignement given by a real client
-A study on different European markets
-Development of qualified contacts: distributors,customers and competitors.

In order to make this consultancy project, four students of the EMBS programme decided to get associate with Easteq China-Offshore a Chinese Multi National Enterprise specialized in developing offshore IT services for Europe and the United States.



Why did EMBS students choose Easteq?

It is based on some key courses that the students are following such as:

Information System and ICT which offers a comprehensive treatment of how information technology is being used to gather,interpret and communicate business information at an ever-increasing-level.The course focuses on information rather than data and its use in the real business world.Contemporary coverage of issues such as knowledge management systems,smart technology,e-business and m-business technologies,virtual working environments, and global Internet commerce is provided within the course and its related workshops.

Project manager in IT is one of the position an EMBS student can expect at the end of the master.

International Market Research which provided the students the necessary tools to perform marketing research in different cultures and countries that help to make better business decisions.

The students of this course will:

-Know the methodology necessary to perform marketing research used to understand international markets.-Design qualitative and quantitative international marketing research projects.

-Practice methodology used in qualitative and quantitative international marketing research.-Develop self-learning processes of basic concepts using real life situations found in international markets.

-Be able to respect and accept other members' ideas when working with multicultural groups.

The students will be trained with Sphinx software,for the design,collection and processing of marketing surveys.

International strategic management where the participants should deepen the strategic business management as a vital concept of acting in international competition,match the status of international management teachings and techniques with their previous practical experiences and carry forward constructive elements of advancement to their companies.
